Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By inviting the Catching Bot Discord application (the "Bot") into a server, interacting with it, or purchasing items on this site (the "Shop"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot or the Shop.

The Bot and the Shop are operated as a single service. These Terms cover both the in-Discord experience (Cats and Bunnies variants) and the web shop, including gift cards, prepaid credit, one-time purchases, and subscriptions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Bot, or the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service in your country if that is higher. To make a purchase or redeem a gift card you must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. The service

The Bot drops randomized creatures into Discord channels and tracks catches per user and per server. It runs as two variants, Cats and Bunnies, with separate inventories and leaderboards. Features, balance, drop rates, season content, and cosmetic content may change at any time. The Bot and the Shop are provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee.

4. Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card data. One-time purchases (rain minutes, pack bundles, add-ons) are credited to your Discord account on the relevant variant once Stripe confirms payment, or instantly when paid entirely from prepaid credit. Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel via the Stripe customer portal linked from your account page.

Digital goods are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain the perk until that date.

5. Gift cards and prepaid credit

Gift card codes are issued at the discretion of the operators and can be redeemed once per code to add prepaid credit to your account. Prepaid credit is denominated in US dollars, has no cash value, and is non-refundable and non-transferable. It applies automatically at checkout, after any active deal or booster discount, and is consumed before any card charge.

If you close a Stripe checkout modal before paying, any credit tentatively held for that order is automatically returned to your balance. Gift card codes may expire at the time of minting; once redeemed, the resulting credit does not expire while your account is active.

6. Acceptable use

You may not exploit bugs, automate catches outside of normal Discord client behaviour, share or resell gift card codes for profit, or upload custom designs that are illegal, hateful, sexual, or that you do not have the rights to. Custom uploads are reviewed by an administrator before they spawn.

7. Termination

We may revoke access, remove uploaded content, void unredeemed gift cards, forfeit unused prepaid credit, or refuse purchases at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Active subscriptions cancelled for cause are not refunded.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catching Bot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Bot or the Shop. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
